{"id":367,"date":"2017-09-11T22:52:34","date_gmt":"2017-09-11T20:52:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/smagrimet.org\/?page_id=367"},"modified":"2017-09-11T22:52:34","modified_gmt":"2017-09-11T20:52:34","slug":"paper-submission","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/smagrimet.org\/2018\/paper-submission\/","title":{"rendered":"Paper submission"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5><span style=\"color: #800000\">The submission procedure<\/span><\/h5>\n<p>By the <del>first deadline\u00a0<strong>(December\u00a0<del>5<sup>th<\/sup><\/del>, 2017)<\/strong><\/del><strong> extended deadline (January 30<sup>th<\/sup>, 2018) <\/strong>the authors are invited to submit contributions in the form of either (including figures):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>an abstract of 2 A4 pages, or<\/li>\n<li>a full paper of 4-5 A4 pages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In both cases the submitted manuscript needs to contain enough information for The Program Committee (TPC) and reviewers to judge on the originality and quality of the work.<\/p>\n<p>The abstracts and full papers need to be uploaded via <a class=\"external-link\" href=\"http:\/\/cms2.smagrimet.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SMAGRIMET Conference Management System<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The manuscript (abstract) submission starts on<strong> October 4<sup>th<\/sup>, 2017<\/strong>. During the uploading process the authors will be asked to categorize their manuscripts in terms of the conference topics and application tracks. The authors may also indicate their preferences regarding the presentation format (oral or poster presentation) upon submission. The final decision about the presentation format is however done by TPC.<\/p>\n<p>After abstract acceptance, authors will be asked to submit an updated, final version of their manuscript according to reviewers&#8217; comments until <strong>March 5<sup>th<\/sup>, 2018. <\/strong>The authors that have submitted the abstract may choose between merely updating the abstract, or extending it to a full paper of 4-5 A4 pages if desired. \u00a0The final submissions are subject to brief review.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Before <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">final paper submission<\/span> it is highly recommended, and mandatory if one chooses to publish his paper in IEEE Xplore, to check compliance of the manuscript files by using the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pdf-express.org\/\">PDF eXpress\u00ae<\/a> tool, with the conference Id : <strong>43875X<\/strong>.<br \/>\nUsing PDFeXpress\u00ae pdf\u00a0files can also be directly created. PDFeXpress for this conference is available <strong>after January 8th, 2018<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Abstracts are not to be checked with PDFeXpress<\/span>, this procedure is only needed for final papers.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In all the cases, the paper templates provided below should be used.<\/p>\n<p>Please also consider the following rules which apply for registration:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Each accepted paper needs to be linked to a registered person before the registration deadline<\/li>\n<li>It is not allowed to link more than two papers to the same person<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note that to have the paper published in the conference proceedings the registration fee needs to be paid and the conference attended.
